On behalf of the Chilliwack Jets, we would like to announce the local signings of players Evan Dyer (Left), Blake Jonah (Centre), and Erich Rommel (Right).
Evan Dyer is Chilliwack, BC Native and played for the Chilliwack Bruins U18 A1 Team last season and has also been an AP in the Pacific Junior Hockey League (Chilliwack Jets, Mission City Outlaws) in the past. Dyer is a 5-foot, 9-inch 175-pound strong skating power forward.
Blake Jonah is an Abbotsford, BC Native and played for the Abbotsford Hawks U18 A1 along with being an AP for the Chilliwack Jets last season. Jonah is a 6-foot, 1-inch 165-pound defenseman and strong-minded hard hitting back end piece the Jets have been looking for. Blake also was the Captain this past season of his U18 team.
Erich Rommel is also from Chilliwack, BC and played for the Chilliwack Bruins U18 A1 Team the last two seasons. In the 2021/22 season helping the Chilliwack U18 team as a rookie push for their Provincial Playoff run. Erich also AP’d at the end of this season with the Fraser Valley Aces to help them secure an HSL Championship Title. Erich is a 6-foot, 1-inch 170-pound skilled 2-way power forward.
We are excited to have Evan, Blake and Erich joining the Chilliwack Jets and keep them local to further their player development in Junior Hockey. We can’t wait to see our fans cheer them on and play in “THE HANGAR” next season.
