A Warrior Signs to Chilliwack

On behalf of the Chilliwack Jets, we would like to announce that BC-born hockey player, and goaltender Jonah Tonhauser, has committed to play for the Chilliwack Jets for the 2024/25 PJHL Junior A Hockey Season.

Tonhauser is a 2007-born, right-hand catching goalie. Jonah is 6’7 and 220 lbs and played his Minor Hockey at OHA (Okanagan Hockey Academy) Penticton.  He had an impressive 11 Wins and 4 Losses and 2.00 GAA with a .925 SV% last season. Jonah has played under the OHA Program for the last 3 years. In 2022, Jonah was drafted in the 3rd round, 59th overall, by the Moose Jaw Warriors of the WHL. Jonah is signed with Moose Jaw and will be attending their Main camp later this summer.  The Jets organization wishes Jonah the best of luck at the Warriors Camp.  In 2022-23, Jonah was the CSSHL goaltender of the year in the U16 Prep Division.

“Jonah is a big goaltender that plays big and is a team-first player.  Jonah battles and competes in each practice and game to give his team a chance to win every night, he never gives up.  The Chilliwack Jets and Jonah are excited to get going, as he continues on his development path to WHL.” – Cam Miller, Assistant GM & Head Scout

Jets Fans! Get excited and cheer on Jonah as we welcome him down to the Chilliwack Junior “A” Jets, and “THE HANGAR”.
