Our culture is not solely about winning, but our focus is on player development and excellence. We are confident that following the completion of our program, Jr Jets participants will be able to compete at the highest levels of AAA hockey or higher for the winter season.  We place a large emphasis on a “Team-First” mentality which kids will benefit from on and off the ice.

The Jr. Jets program uses the game of hockey to develop respectful and responsible athletes that compete with a will to win. The Jr. Jets program will give players experiences that build their foundation of discipline, leadership, and teamwork. Throughout the course of the spring season, players can build lifelong relationships with teammates and coaches who all share the same passion for the game of hockey.

Jr. Jets are excited to participate in competitive tournaments throughout the Fraser Valley, best suited for specific age groups. We are even more excited to host our own tournament at the beginning of June, allowing us to showcase our most skilled local talent to the community.  We know tournaments are fun, and that is why we’re mindful to not lose focus on the fundamentals such as skill development, done simultaneously with our spring practice plans. By putting in the hard work, we anticipate a fun and rewarding experience in tournaments and practices.

Training Program

The Jr. Jets Spring Development Programs run from April through June for approximately 10 weeks. The team practices are run by a Head Coach and an Assistant Coach. Each winter, the Jr. Jets organization will select Head Coaches for the upcoming season. These coaches are professionals with multiple years of experience. Upon completion of the program, each player will be provided with a performance evaluation to assist with their upcoming season.

The program offers no morning practices, limited weekend practices, and schedules that encourage players to participate in other sports and or activities away from hockey.

All team skates are out of Sardis Sports Complex. Teams will be able to fundraise for additional tournaments or gear on their own.
