Champions Dethroned – Langley Trappers Defeated

The Chilliwack Jets went (4-1) in their series against last year’s PJHL Champions and Cyclone Taylor Champions, the Langley Trappers in Round 2 of the PJHL Playoffs. The Jets now advance to Round 3 of the Pacific Junior Hockey League Playoffs in the Harold Brittain Conference Finals where they will face either Ridge Meadows Flames (Currently Leading Series 3-1) or the Mission City Outlaws. With the Jets only existing since 2020 and only having 1 full year of proper play under their belt (2021/2022 Season), this is tremendous for the team and City of Chilliwack. The Jets have made the Playoffs both seasons (2021/2022 & 2022/2023) and now in the Conference Final for the first time in Franchise history.

If the Jets do faceoff against Ridge Meadows it would be a rematch of last seasons playoff run when Ridge Meadows was able to pull off a (4-0) series win over the Jets. Stay tuned to see who we will faceoff for the title of 2022/2023 Harold Brittain Conference Champion.
