The Chilliwack Jets have announced today that they have acquirred 2006 born goaltender Massimo Urbani and a Player Development Fee from the Melville Millionaires of the SJHL in exchange for the playing rights of 2007 born forward Cole Brown.
Cole Brown was acquirred in June from the Fort MacMurray Oil Barons of the AJHL in exchange for a Player Development Fee.
Urbani, comes to the Jets with experinece in the BCHL, SJHL, and PJHL experience. In the PJHL Urbani starred for the Richmond Sockeyes in the 2025-2026 season, in 25 games with the Sockeyes he recorded 21 Wins, 4 Losses, 5 Shutouts, a .924% Save Percentage and a Goals Againts Average of 2.08.
Jets Assistant General Manager Cam Miller on the Urbani acquisition, “He is a technical and very athletic goaltender, he was a top goalie in the PJHL before he left for the SJHL last season. We are pleased to have him as a key contributor to the Jets success this season!”
