The Chilliwack Jets have announced today that they have signed 2007-born defenseman Tyson Church for the 2026-2027 BCHC season.
Church, who hails from Taber, Alberta, spent the 2025-2026 season playing in the KIJHL for the 100 Mile House Wranglers. In 25 games with the Wranglers last season Church produced 3 assists, along with 79 PIMS.
Jets Assistant General Manager Cam Miller on the Church signing, ” I’ve watched Tyson for a couple of years now, he has developed into a reliable defensemen that can play on either side of the ice, is a team leader and can play in any situation. Tyson is a team first player willing to do anything to help his team win”.
