Chilliwack Native and Shawnigan Lake School Hockey U18 Prep Goaltender, Sean Walia has committed to play for the Chilliwack Jets this 2022/2023 season. Walia is a 6-foot,5 inches, 185-pound goalie from Chilliwack, British Columbia. He previously was an Affiliated Player with the Steinbach Pistons of the MJHL for the start of the 2022/2023 season. While at Shawnigan Lake, Walia posted a .896 SV%, and a 3.87 GAA in 19 games played, and in the 2021/2022 playoffs posted a .947 SV% and 2.00 GAA through 2 games.
We look forward to having Sean back in Chilliwack, as he brings a commitment to always enhance his game, supporting the community and playing to win each and every game. We are excited for him to patrol the crease this season and help with the Chilliwack Jets strive for the PJHL Stonehouse Championship Cup.
