The Chilliwack Jets are excited to launch further ice times for our Jr Jets Skills Hockey Academy. The program will have three age groups and will be focused on the younger categories of minor hockey.
Program Overview
This program is being set up to offer young hockey players in Chilliwack to obtain additional skills development sessions. Sessions for age groups are below.
- Friday Morning 6:15-7:15 am SSC3 (2018, 2017, 2016) – **7 SPOTS LEFT**
The schedule for sessions will be as follows:
- Jan 10th – March 14th, 2025
All sessions will be led by the Chilliwack Jets Head Coach Chris Price and we will have Chilliwack Jets players helping with sessions.
Weekly sessions will consist of and focus on the following skill sets:
- Power Skating, Edgework, Posture etc
- Puck Skills, Puck Protection, Passing
- Small-area competitive games
- Goaltending Instruction
- Position Specific Instruction
Participants
We will be limiting each group to 25 skaters. How this will work is we have an application below. If you are interested in the program please fill out and submit application below. Then the Jets staff will accept 25 applicants per age group to the program. Depending on interest a second session for an age group could be added. The groups for the Jr Jets Skills Academy 2025 season will be:
- 2016, 2017, 2018 (25 Skaters, 2 Goalies)
Cost
The cost for the 2024/2025 season is $400.00
