The Chilliwack Jets announced today that the club has signed 2005-born, Roseland Manitoba Native, forward, Jayce Thompson.
Thompson played the start of the 2023/24 junior season with the Kam River Fighting Walleye in the SIJHL. Thomson has played in 9 games grabbing 2 assists and 24 PIM’s. Jayce prior to signing with Kam River, played for the Southwest Cougars U18 AAA Hockey Program as the Captain scoring 17 goals, 10 assists and 48 PIM’s thru 47 games of the 2022/23 hockey season.
“At 6’2″ and 180 lbs, Jayce dominates in any situation with his ability to excel at both ends of the rink. A true team player, he plays a relentless 200ft game. Jayce will be wearing #15 for the Chilliwack Jets and we are excited to bring him out West and welcome him to Chilliwack!
