On behalf of the Chilliwack Jets, we would like to announce local, Chilliwack BC-born hockey player, Ryder Vander Kooi, has committed to play for the Chilliwack Jets this upcoming 2023/24 PJHL hockey season.
Ryder is a 6-foot, 5-inch, 175-pound skilled power forward. Ryder played for the Fraser Valley Thunderbirds U17 Prep Team in the BCEHL last season, and has developed and played under the Fraser Valley Thunderbird Program the last 2 years. Vander Kooi scored 10 goals and 11 assists, totalling 42 PIM’s through 34 games played last season.
