TRADE ALERT: Sorken, Romeo off to Delta

The Chilliwack Jets announced today that the club has acquired a Player Development Fee and Future Considerations from the Delta Ice Hawks in exchange for forward(s); Wyatt Sorken & Michele Romeo

Sorken was acquired by the Jets late last season and helped the team push for a deep playoff run. Sorken started off the season in Revelstoke playing 6 games (6G,2A,2PIM’s) before injury and coming to Chilliwack. Wyatt collected 2 goals and 1 assist thru 10 regular season games played with the Chilliwack Jets tallying 31 PIM’s. Sorken also appeared in 10 playoff games and tallied 1 Goal and 10 PIM’s.

Romeo was also acquired by the Jet late last season to help with the teams playoff push and player depth. Romeo started the season with the Fernie Ghostriders playing in 19 games (2G,3A,38PIM’s) before traded at the trade deadline to Chilliwack. Michele played in 12 regular season games with the Jets collecting 2 Goals, 1 Assist and 45 PIM’s. Romeo also appeared in 10 playoff games for the Jets scoring twice and tallying 2 assists and 2 PIM’s.
